Event Details

Join me for this 1 day voice exploration workshop.

The voice is the direct expression of body and spirit meeting. To discover the many facets of our true voice is to discover the many facets of our whole being. This is in fact a tantric journey, in the true sense of the word – meeting and uniting the divine masculine and feminine forces within. If you are considering embarking on this voyage, you may have a sense that there is more to you than meets the ‘ear’… and you may even feel afraid to unleash what lies beneath, even though you’re not quite sure what that is yet…

The Sound of Now is a day of exploration, ceremony and play, designed to open doorways of connection between your true ‘self’ (body, heart, mind and spirit) and how you express yourself in the world.

So many of us have experienced trauma and wounding around our voices. Perhaps we were always told to shut up, perhaps our ideas or feelings were consistently ridiculed, perhaps we were laughed at, kicked out of choir, told we couldn’t or shouldn’t sing, or simply ignored… Each story is unique but also universal. Many of us have developed such deep shame and fear shrouding our voices that we have no idea what our true voice really sounds like.

This is a safe and gently held space to explore, discover and begin to integrate these lost or stuck parts of ourselves. It is a co-created space of deep listening, witnessing, feeling, moving and sounding. Guided by our own prayers, we will explore the breath, the silence, the shadow, and the witness that does not judge, we will meet the inner child, parent, and self-saboteur, we will meet the body and ask it what it has to say… And finally we will unite our hearts and voices in perfectly imperfect song, together.

£35. Limited spaces so best to RSVP to book your place. Payment in advance via paypal to or £40 on the day.
Or you can purchase your ticket directly from Event Bright for a small booking fee
